WATER JET CUTTING
Our waterjet cutting services produce products with excellent edge quality, no burrs, near tolerance, and low need for additional finishing. We can cut any sort of rubber and specialize in cutting high quality pieces for both industrial and architectural applications.
We can reduce material waste and transfer those savings along to you thanks to our superior part nesting procedures that are environmentally beneficial. Our high-speed machinery can cut through material up to 5" thick at speeds up to 600"/minute using pressures of up to 60,000 psi. Our adaptable machines are capable of producing elaborate patterns and complex shapes. Our ability to produce pieces up to 144" x 77."
INDUSTRIAL HOSE TESTING
For more than 20 years, Columbus Rubber Co. has provided onsite and internal testing and certification of Product and Chemical hose assemblies. All testing is carried out to follow with the widely accepted NAHAD standards.
Every assembly is meticulously examined for problems, such as kinks, exposed reinforcement, and degradation. Each hose is hydrostatically tested up to 150% of its working pressure. The hose is held at this pressure for 10 minutes and closely examined for any drips, spills, or unequal swelling which would signify a failed test.

Custom Tagging
Following the assessment, each hose undergoes a tagging process. We offer a variety of tag sizes to cater to your preferences. All metal tags are crafted from Stainless Steel, guaranteeing their resilience against corrosion in real-world conditions. The content engraved on each tag is fully customizable by our clients, with commonly included details such as test pressure, working pressure, service type, serial numbers, and/or dates.
